This case is constructed of 1/4" plywood with a black vinyl laminate (inside and out) and heavy gauge aluminum extrusions riveted throughout. It is finished with all fine rust resistant plated hardware fittings and steel corners. The case has 4 drawers with the approx ID dims - 16" x 12" x 3" high (2 top drawers) and 16" x 12" x 5" high (2 bottom drawers). There is a storage compartment beneath the drawers which measures about 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 7" high and there are 3 more compartments in the lid which measure about 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" high. A rigid pad is supplied as a top work surface which is carpeted on both top and bottom. This pad folds in half and velcros on to top of case when case is setup and stores in the lid as shown.
